There’s something we at the Laurel never understood. WTIC-am radio host Will Marotti is known as “Pastor Will” because he leads a church in Wallingford. But that didn’t stop him from using the harsh rhetoric and accusations of right-wing radio. On his radio show he certainly spoke from the “bully” pulpit.

The J-I’s Matt Buckler has the details of Marotti stepping down from the show. Marotti came in as ex-Governor John Rowland’s co-host, and today Rowland appeared on the final program.

Among those filling in during the 9am-12noon time slot are former TV Reporter George Colli (Fox61, NBC CT, WTNH). Colli broke the crumbling foundations story when he worked for NBC CT and helped the station win a duPont.
