Jim Docker has died. He was an editor at the Norwich Bulletin and served as press secretary to then-U.S.Senator Lowell Weicker. Tom Dudchik of CT Capitol Report worked with Jim during their Weicker years: “Jim was a newsman’ s newsman. Printers ink ran through his blood. When he made the jump to the other side of the ball, he made flacking for even Weicker seem easy. His humor, and talents will be missed.”
