Former Bristol Press reporter Jackie Majerus has been awarded a gold prize by the French organization known as Global Youth and News Media for her work promoting news literacy internationally.
Since leaving the Bristol Press in 2011, Majerus has been a full-time volunteer editor and administrator for Youth Journalism International.
