Jon Hitchcock is leaving Fox 61 to take over as vice president and general manager of WNYT in Albany, New York. He has been with Fox 61 since April of 2015.
Previously Hitchcock was GM at KYW in Philadelphia and WTNH in New Haven.
During his time at Fox 61, the station dramatically increased the number of hours of locally produced news.
