As Gray Television continues to reorganize the Meredith Corporation stations it purchased last year, two WFSB veterans seem safe in their roles and are being given additional responsibility.
Patience Hettrick has been promoted to the position of station manager of WGGB and WSHM-LD in Springfield. She will continue to hold the position of news director at the same time. Hettrick spent most of her career at WFSB including a period as assistant news director.
Dana Neves, the general manager of WFSB, has been given “oversight responsibility” for the Springfield market on top of her role as GM in Hartford.
This is good news for both following a string of early moves by Gray that saw the company replace several top Meredith managers soon after the takeover was complete.
