Kudos to the Hartford Courant for retaining Greg Hladky. Greg was the senior staff writer for the Advocate chain for 4 years till the papers folded. The Courant’s parent company owned the Advocate so they moved him over to the daily. Greg is well-known at the state capitol for the 20-plus years he spent at the New Haven Register covering politics and governments. His beat at the Courant will include the environment, agriculture, food issues such as GMOs and organics, and the politics that are involved with all those topics. Good to know he’s still under the dome.
