Mark Twain said, “Never pick a fight with someone who buys his ink by the barrel”. In other words, don’t go after the news media; you’re not going to win. And while companies are catching on to the idea of using social media to disseminate their messages, it was NOT a good idea for someone from Northeast Utilities to write a demeaning post on NBC CT meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan’s blog about his forecast.
CL&P is looking everywhere to point the finger because they refuse to admit they screwed up from the start. They didn’t pay the out of state crews from Irene, they didn’t plan well for this storm and they don’t care one bit what anyone thinks. They feel they have CT over a barrel and no one is going to change that.
NBC CT is awesome. Thats why there CT NEWS LEADER!!! CL&P sucks and just points the finger at everyone else. I can not wait to see many more lawsuits come against this horrible company. We as citizens on CT should revolt against CL&p
