If you have ever listened to the New York Times podcast The Daily you are familiar with the voices and halting delivery styles of co-hosts Michael Barbaro and Sabrina Tavernise.
What you may not know is that both have Connecticut roots. Tavernise, the show’s second co-host was born in Hartford and Barbaro, the show’s first host was born in New Haven.
While Tavernise grew up in Massachusetts, Barbaro grew up in North Haven, attended the Hamden Hall Country Day School and went on the graduate from Yale.
