In a move few predicted, Zavian Colon is joining Fox 61 as a meteorologist and multi-skilled journalist. Colon worked most recently as a weekend meteorologist in Waco, Texas.
He is a 2023 graduate of SUNY Albany where he obtained a degree in atmospheric science and minored in broadcast journalism.
While in Waco he hosted a regular feature called Weather Whys, in which he “broke down complex weather concepts” in what is described by Fox 61 as a “fun and engaging way.”
