There’s a new look coming to ABC affiliate WTNH (Channel 8) next month. After 13 years as “News Channel 8,” WTNH will rebrand as simply “News 8,” with a new logo that was unveiled during Sunday night’s Oscars telecast.
can we expect to see News 8 in High Definition?
That’s the rumor. Rumor is control room is being gutted, but field crews haven’t seen a new camera yet…
Just last night I said to myself how badly NC8 needs a face-lift (before turning to Ch 3). They could really learn a few things from WFSB and WABC in terms of presentation and quality. However, I’m glad to see the station finally moving in the right direction with the anchor changes and a brand-new, bright, and refreshing-looking logo. Now if only they can work on fixing the technical problems that plague their every newscast… (crossing my fingers)
