A Friend in the Ivory Tower

With all due respect to one of the finest universities on the planet,  contacting Yale’s public affairs office as a local Connecticut reporter can make one feel rather, well, small. Therefore it’s good to know that Bill Hathaway, formerly of the Hartford Courant, is working there. His title is “Associate Director for Science, Engineering and Medicine” and he handles all media calls related to biology, the neurosciences, psychiatry and psychology. Bill left the Courant a year ago after covering a variety of beats, most recently health and science.
