Congratulations to Connecticut broadcaster Diane Smith who will receive one of the Governor’s awards for excellence in culture and tourism on April 28th. In addition to her work over the years at WTNH, WTIC-am and CPTV, Diane has become known for her “Positively Connecticut” reports and books. By winning this award she’s in good company: past recipients include Dave Brubeck, Robert Penn Warren, Arthur Miller and Jacques Pepin.
Diane, congratulations!
Congrats to a true pro.
Could not have been awarded to a smarter more professional broadcaster and journalist.
Thanks so much for those nice comments!
