Meanwhile, NBC has divorced itself from MSNBC and CNBC. MS has been renamed MSNOW marking the creation of a new source of information with the freedom to write its own story. At the network of origin, Tom Llamas is well into his time as the anchor and managing editor of NBC Nightly News; the first Latino-American to serve as chief anchor of a nightly news program.
