As a lead-in to the Oscars this Sunday, WTNH is airing “Winter’s Fury” at 6:30 pm, a weather special featuring the meteorologists of “Storm Team 8”. Given the weather of the past few months, a special program makes some sense. And if a station had just jettisoned a well-known weather person and was hoping to continue the introduction of his replacement… this is a good opportunity to do so.

Why would anyone watch this? Why would anyone want to watch 30 more minutes about how much it snowed when that’s all they’ve been talking about for the past 30 days?
Especially at 630pm on a Sunday, there HAS to be something better on.
