The publisher of the Polish bi-weekly newspaper Bialy Orzel is opening a Connecticut office in New Britain.
White Eagle Media says it chose New Britain because of Connecticut’s large Polish population – historically centered in New Britain. The Connecticut office will also support the company’s publications in Massachusetts, New York and Florida.
In Polish, Bialy Orzel means white eagle; the Polish national symbol seen on the nation’s flag.
