The newsrooms of WGGB and WSHM in Springfield are now one.
The news operations have been re-branded and have hit the air with a new set and a clear mission evidenced in the new name: Western Mass News and westernmassnews.com.
As Laurel readers know, WGGB, WSHM and Fox 6 are all owned by Meredith Corporation, which also owns WFSB in Hartford. The same company, FX Design Group, designed the sets for channel 3 and Western Mass News.
