We are told that high temperatures today will reach the mid-90’s, but with the humidity the heat index will make it feel like 105.

The wind chill factor will bring that back down to 99.

Strong thunderstorms are possible across the area, effecting as many as 3.5 million people in Connecticut. You may want to keep an umbrella handy, but not necessarily nearby. The collision of warm and cool air masses will produce a remote chance for snow flurries in the Litchfield Hills. It will be cooler by the shore.
