The House and Senate passed a series of emergency bills this week, but Republicans say the move was unnecessary. Rep. Vincent Candelora (R-North Branford) specifically addresses the bottle bill, which he says needs to be revisited due to an increase in out-of-state redemptions.

Rep. Matt Blumenthal (D-Stamford) is co-authoring a bill to protect Connecticut’s elections from potential interference from the federal government, following President Trump’s recent call to nationalize elections.
