Joe D’Ambrosio, the Voice of the Huskies, and until recently a long time utility player for WTIC-AM and sports anchor with NBC CT, was spotted this weekend on News 8’s Capitol Report Overtime.
News 8 has been making a noticeably concerted effort in the last year to expand its bench of locally recognized talent. Is this a sign of things to come? Within hours of D’Ambrosio’s exit from NBC CT there was speculation in media circles about him finding a slot in New Haven at News 8.
