The Laurel has learned that Fox 61 news director Dana Rosengard will leave the station at the end of next week.
He gave a heads up to the newsroom Thursday afternoon. In his message he said he did not know what he would be doing next professionally, but said it is time “for a change” and suggested he may be looking to return to academia. Rosengard holds a Ph. D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
He has been Fox 61’s news director since last June. Before that he was assistant news director.
