An unexpected announcement from one of the youngest local news anchors in the country.
Ben Goldman, 27, of Fox 61 has announced he is leaving the station after he signs off his last newscast this Friday. In a long social media post, Goldman said he had the opportunity to stay with Fox 61, but he has decided it is “time to grow and start a new chapter in life.”
According to his post he does not know what that chapter is, but he is going to take some time off first to think about it. Goldman has been full-time with Fox 61 since he was 21.
