Nexstar has closed on its deal to acquire Media General, the owner of WTNH and WCTX in Connecticut.
As you will no doubt remember, Nexstar is acquiring Media General in a $4.6 billion accretive cash and stock transaction. This deal all started with an attempted merger between Meredith and Media General.
