Psaki: One and Done?

Connecticut native Jen Psaki suggests pretty strongly – in a podcast interview – that she is likely to depart her role as White House press secretary after one year.

Speaking on the Axe Files, with former Obama White House adviser David Axelrod, Psaki says she made clear in her early discussions with the Biden team that she thought it would be time for someone new behind the podium at the end of Biden’s first year in office.

Psaki has gotten strong marks for her approach to the job so far. In fact, at The LaurelĀ we have informally nominated her as “most likely to be the next Nicolle Wallace” if that’s what she wants when she leaves the Biden administration.
