Former TV president Dennis Haysbert debuted as the new voice of the Meet the Press intro on NBC. Haysbert played President David Palmer on Fox’s “24.” Once out of office he was assassinated in a hotel room while working on a book with his brother…who later became president and died in office…but not before saving the world from terrorists.
But as far as the intro goes – we think they may need to re-cut it. The emphasis seems to be on the wrong syllables. It’s not just the voice, it’s how you say it.
