Windham County reporter John Penney of the Norwich Bulletin is following the well worn path of journalists who have moved from the Bulletin to The Day of New London.
Penney has been with the Bulletin for seventeen years. In a social media post this week he thanked the Bulletin for hiring him following an internship, but also said he looks forward to joining The Day, a paper he says he considers “the best in the state.”
