Fox 61 Asks All the Tough Questions: What Was Your Name Again, Mr. Speaker?
May 1, 2010 at 4:12 pm by Ken DixonThe Blogster is always amused when some young TV reporter or another, Mapquest printout in hand, shows up at the Capitol and joins the news-gathering fray. But it was more than mirth that was sparked a few minutes ago when Jennifer Lahmers, a Fox 61 reporter/weekend anchor dressed in a short dark-blue black cocktail dress and high heels, stood through a 10-minute news conference with Speaker of the House Chris Donovan and House Majority Leader Denise Merrill, then asked them to please identify themselves for the folks back home.
Should we expect something different from Fox?
this coming from a man who wears Hawaiian shirts to news conferences….
Typical..these young news-model types just want to be sexy TV stars. Getting public officials names right is an after-thought. There are a bunch of them now on Fox 61, but there’s one or 2 on all the so-called news stations now. Why don’t they just try out for some reality show instead?
