O’Reilly Out

Fox News has confirmed Bill O’Reilly will not return to the Fox News channel.

The network issued a statement Wednesday afternoon saying Fox and O’Reilly have agreed to end their relationship. The decision comes after weeks of negative publicity associated with various claims of sexual harassment against O’Reilly.

NPR is reporting Tucker Carlson, who attended Trinity College in Hartford, will replace O’Reilly. Carlson has been performing very well in the ratings since replacing Megyn Kelly, who left earlier this year for a position at NBC News.
