Sorry naysayers. It looks like finishing touches are being put on the new home of the Hartford Yard Goats. Soon, we will drink your Vanilla Bean Coolatta.
The signs went up this weekend announcing “Dunkin Donuts Park.” We also heard most of the seats are in and sod is being put down on the field. Last week it was reported substantial completion is scheduled for mid-May.
So yes, they will be playing baseball soon in downtown Hartford and when they do no one will remember it was a few weeks late. Wah, wah, wahhh!
