Every once in a while The New York Times recognizes Connecticut. Often, it’s related to food or real estate.

This week, The Times put Haring’s Seafood of Noank on its list of top 50 restaurants in America.

Meanwhile, The Times of London has declared that Litchfield is a “place of distinction” that is replacing the Hamptons as a place for escape for New Yorkers.
