Scenes from Weekend Edition Saturday, the first broadcast from the new NPR Headquarters in Washington, DC on April 13, 2013.

We assume many of you news junkies listen to NPR so we want to bring you up to date on some more staff changes to the anchor line-up.

Last week we told you Melissa Block was leaving All Things Considered to become a special correspondent. This week, the network has announced a further talent rotation:

Correspondents Ari Shapiro and Kelly McEvers will be joining regulars Robert Siegel and Audie Cornish in the afternoons – giving all four the capability of contributing more original reporting. Michel Martin, who lost her own weekday show called Tell Me More last year, will become the anchor for weekend All Things Considered, replacing Arun Rath.

Over the last few days both Martin and McEvers have been taking on additional summertime hosting duties perhaps foreshadowing today’s developments.
