Shout out to Darren Sweeney of NBC Connecticut who just completed his first half marathon. With the help of family, friends and scores of NBC Connecticut Viewers, Sweeney raised more than $3,700 for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society and Team in Training. This race was especially important to him as his mom was recently diagnosed. Together his group raised over $40,000 for CT and Nationally more than $3 million for cancer research.
