Monday Moves

An anchor shuffle continues at WUSA in Washington, D.C. and the latest move shifts former WFSB morning anchor Mike Hydek from weekdays to weekends. The station has started running promos announcing Hydek’s move to Saturday and Sunday morning and his station bio reflects the move.

This means the D.C. station’s main weekend newscasts are being anchored by Connecticut news alums.

ICYMI – Seth Lemon, recently of NBC CT, is moving to St. Louis where he will be an anchor and reporter for KTVI – Fox 2.

In the “kind of local category,” John Di Staso, a long time reporter for the Manchester Union LeaderĀ of New Hampshire, is moving to television. He’s joining WMUR in Manchester as a political reporter. DiStaso is a quadrennially familiar face as an expert commentator on New Hampshire politics for many of the national television networks. For the last year DiStaso has been serving as editor of the New Hampshire Journal.
