Former WTNH reporter/anchor Scott McDonnell is rejoining Boston 25 after four years away anchoring the news in Phoenix and most recently Portland, Maine.
He’ll be anchoring various weekday afternoon and evening newscasts. He last worked at WFXT in Boston from 2019 to 2021.
McDonnell’s decision to reveal his next stop less than seven days after his departure from Maine is an unusual break with traditional broadcast journalism protocol which historically demands a full two weeks of mourning.
