Apparently NESN doesn’t think the two go well together. NESN has confirmed that popular Red Sox sideline reporter, Jenny Dell has been reassigned and the station is now looking for her replacement for the 2014 baseball season. The news comes just a few weeks after Dell and Red Sox third baseman Will Middlebrooks publicly announced their romantic relationship.
Dell and Middlebrooks, who have been dating for almost a year, began appearing together in public after the Red Sox won the World Series. On New Year’s Eve Middlebrooks tweeted a picture of him with his arm around Dell to his 149K followers with the caption “Happy New Year from us to you! Here’s to a great 2014!”
Even without the sideline reporting job, Dell will still be able to keep tabs on her beau while anchoring ‘NESN Sports Today’ and handling other assignments for NESN.
