…or does it make  others cold to watch the occasional female news anchor do the short sleeves/sleeveless thing when it’s 15 degrees outside? We’re not advocating the dorky ski sweaters that anchors in this market were asked to wear in years past: just a little arm coverage.

  1. This type of presentation tends to go in cycles, and the sleeveless look is definitely “in” right now, especially with the national cable outlets.
One anchor was asked how she could be comfortable with bare arms in the middle of winter, and she responded via twitter, facebook, or maybe postal delivery, that it is “very hot in the studio with all of the bright lights.”
I like the look, I”m buyin’ it!

  2. Kind of hard to win that argument. If a woman is attractive, she must be a ditz or have earned her job in other than journalistic ways. Brunettes must be more intelligent, especially if they wear glasses, all weather “girls” wear sweaters and so on.
Considering all the important factors in news, I am least worried by a dress. As long as they are properly attired, clean and neat.
