Laurel writer Dean Pagani is now on Substack.
The title of the Substack page is Media Attaché and it represents a weekly effort to reflect on news and trends in politics, public relations, and journalism and how they intersect.
I’ve been creating content for the site since February, but have not made any attempt to promote it until now. I have been writing three times a week with the intention to do more soon, including the integration of photography, audio, and video.
For now, I publish:
- The Media Attaché Weekly Newsletter on Sunday mornings.
- A general column on Tuesdays.
- A newsletter on the 2028 presidential campaign on Thursdays.
- By the end of the summer I hope to begin a third newsletter covering the nation’s governors.
This week’s column is centered on the decision by Wesleyan University President Michael Roth to stand out front in the battle for freedom of expression.
Please check it out and pass the word to anyone you think may be interested.
I have thought about taking this plunge for a while, resisted at first, and finally decided I have things to say.
