The Hartford Courant announced last week that it is naming one of its summer internships after Lisa Chedekel who died of cancer earlier this year.
Chedekel was a quiet team captain inside the Courant, leading by example.
The first Chedekel intern is Hayley Harding a student at Ohio University.
