Along the way there were many naysayers saying “nay,” and lots of obstacles, but in the end the stadium was built and the Yard Goats play baseball in Hartford.
Once again, the Double A Yard Goats have received an award.
The team is the recipient of the 2021 Freitas Award given to teams for achieving excellence on the business side of minor league operations.
Go Goats!! And as a former mayor used to say; “Go Hartford!”
