You’d like to think that if one of our state commissioners is appointed to the President’s cabinet, the state news media would make the connection. Most did, but on WTNH’s 10 pm news, Gina McCarthy’s nomination to become head of the federal Environmental Protection Agency was announced without any mention that she held the top environmental job in CT just four years before (2004-2009).
You’d think that would merit mention but it’s a newsroom on auto-pilot for last place. WTNH makes a lot of stupid mistakes.
