Paul Bass and the New Haven Independent document all the moves involving DeStefano spokesperson Adam Joseph who is leaving New Haven City Hall. Adam is returning to Hartford to join the Senate Democrats as press secretary. He fills the vacancy left by Derek Slap (an NBC CT alum) when Derek moved up to Chief of Staff. Former New Haven Register reporter and current DeStefano aldermanic liaison Elizabeth Benton will replace Adam as Mayor DeStefano’s spokesperson.
