James DiGuiseppe was one of the best radio producers we’ve had in this market. He worked for several years with Diane Smith at WTIC and she filled us in on tomorrow’s festivites:

“Former WTIC-am UBER-Morning show producer BIG GAME James DiGiuseppe marries Christine Allen tomorrow at St Catherine of Siena Church in West Simsbury. James is now the associate producer of the Lou Dobbs radio show. Former WTIC afternoon producer Bobby Sherwood works for James. Chrissy is the head grower at the legendary White Flower Farms in Litchfield.

“James’ creativity made his proposal to Chrissy the most unusual we’ve heard. James crafted a crossword puzzle about their years together, that also spelled out the message to ‘go to Borders’, the place they had originally met. James was waiting for Chrissy with a bouquet of flowers and an invitation to dinner at their favorite restaurant. When they got home, while Chrissy put away the leftovers, James dressed as a penguin (Chrissy’s favorite animal), got down on one knee, and turned on a DVD. Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon the hosts of PTI on ESPN actually did the honors, popping the question on James’ behalf.”
