Floyd Richards, best known to some for his role as “Hap Richards” on the WTIC-TV of old, passed away earlier this month. Here’s a link to his obituary.
Floyd was hosting the call-in program “Mike Line” on WTIC-AM when co-host Bob Ellsworth read the news bulletin that President John F. Kennedy had been shot in Dallas, Texas.
