The Day Publishing Co. has long had a robust local weekly newspaper presence on the Connecticut shoreline, with 15 weeklies covering towns from East Haven to the Rhode Island border. Now, the Day is taking its coverage inland to 28,000 households in Norwich and surrounding communities. Starting on October 1st, The Norwich Times will be distributed free to households in Bozrah, Franklin, Griswold, Lisbon, Norwich, Scotland, Sprague and Voluntown.
