Former Hartford Courant political cartoonist Bob Englehart has agreed to join the growing team at the yet to be published Winsted Citizen.
Englehart left the Courant several years ago, but has not stopped working. He has been posting regularly on Patreon.
The pressure is truly on Rosemary Scanlon who is joining the Citizen as its advertising director.
The Winsted Citizen, funded by Ralph Nader and edited by Andy Thibault, is planning to publish a pilot issue in early to mid-February to gauge support for a regular weekly.
