We were concerned when we saw video of a celebration at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford and noted that meteorologist Dr. Mel Goldstein — a longtime cancer survivor — was in a wheelchair. But we’re happy to note that he will make a brief return to the News 8 airwaves this Thursday night for “Dr. Mel’s Final Forecast.” Dr Mel retired in August of this year.
