Hearst announced recently it will be making inroads into Hartford County and has indeed done so by hiring Christine Dempsey. Christine has been part of the Hartford Courant’s breaking news team since 2008. Her hiring follows on the heels of Hearst also luring away reporter Alex Putterman.
