Two long-time staffers at the Hartford Courant received official promotions this week.
Reporter Alaine Griffin will be taking over as head of the “state system” inside the Courant at the end of the year. She’s been with the paper since 2000.
Editor Nancy Schoeffler is taking over as editor of special projects and publications. She is replacing Naedine Hazell who left earlier this year.
