Whether or not you worked with Mike Allen of Politico when he was here in Connecticut, the profile of him that will appear in the New York Times Sunday magazine is great reading (“The Man the White House Wakes Up To). Mike was part of Connecticut’s capitol press corps in the late 90s when he worked for the NY Times. He was as mysterious then as he apparently is now – did he have an apartment or sleep in the press room on the 5th floor of the capitol? Great guy and great reporter – nice to see him getting this attention.
