Knowing the pressure of working through tragedy, the editorial staff of the Newtown Bee sent a care package to the staff of the Victoria Advocate in Victoria, Texas following Hurricane Harvey.
The team there was still – and is still – working on the story left in the aftermath of the storm. The gesture by the Bee staff made an emotional impact when it arrived in the Texas newsroom.
