The Laurel has written about a number of Courant staff members heading south (to Hearst CT) but here’s a Hearst guy who’s going to the Courant: Zach Murdock, who will cover breaking news in the evenings. For the past year he’s covered the city of Danbury and breaking news for Hearst. A native of Kansas City, he joins the many Mizzou Journalism school grads in the market.
